Dyersburg,Tn real estate market conditions

I am Mike Frazier and I am the broker/Owner of Carousel Realty in Dyersburg,Tennessee 38024. About 3 years ago I started blogging about the Dyersburg real estate market. That url is

www.dyersburgrealestate.blogspot.com

I also write on two other blogs which are www.tennesseelakefrontproperties.com and www.dyersburgacreage.blogspot.com

The Dyersburg market is holding up remarkable well considering what is going on in other parts of the country and even in other parts of our state. I recently attended the Tennessee Association of Realtors convention in Destin,Florida and I had a chance to interview realtors from across the state of Tennessee. My last post on the above blog includes interviews with the realtors from across the state.

The Dyersburg marketing time has gone up for homes to sell in this area but the prices(if people are willing to be patient) have remained fairly flat. Right now in the price range of $80,000-$150,000, it is neither a buyers market nor a sellers market. It is somewhere in between. The reason our market continues to do as well as it is doing is because of the growth of Dyersburg and availability of jobs in Dyersburg and in the surrounding areas including across the river in Blytheville,Arkansas. The steel mills are really expanding or new ones springing up across the river near or in Blytheville. The local plants in Dyersburg and Newbern are also doing very well.

As you can see I am bullish on the Dyersburg real estate market and excited about the growth of Dyersburg!
